Bombay toast is a snack recipe. You can make this in the evening time with your coffee or tea, its just perfect.
Bread slices - 10 to 12 (Cut off the edges and cut into desired shapes)
Besan flour - 1 small cup
Pudina leaves - a small bunch
Corriander leaves - 1 big bunch
Green Chillies - 4 to 5(According to taste)
Chilli powder - Little
Salt to taste
Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
Oil for shallow fry.
In a blender add in green chillies, salt, red chilli powder, pudina, coriander & grind it to a fine paste n keep it aside. (Make sure you don add too much water the paste should be a little dry.)
Now take a mixing bowl, add in d besan flour, onions & ground paste with enough water. The consistency should b like a little lighter than bonda batter. Mix this mixture throughly.
Now dip the bread into the batter on both sides evenly and shallow fry on tawa with enough oil. See to that the flame is on low. Fry till golden brown on both the sides.
Serve hot with tomato Ketchup or Mint chutney.
