Bangarpet Pani (A different kinda pani)

Bangarpet is a town in Kolar district in Karnataka State,India...... This town is famous for chats and one of the most special chat is the Bangarpet Pani Puri. The specialty of this Pani Puri is that the Pani looks just like water however tastes spicy (:

I was wondering how do they make this Pani, so finally asked the chats guy, how do you prepare the Pani... Then he shared the recipe with me without any hesitation and today I will share this famous recipe with all you guys....

This recipe is for all the guys who haven't visited Bangarpet and who are missing Bangarpet Pani (:

Garlic flakes - 5 to 6 pods
Green chilles - 3Nos
Ginger - 1 Inch
Corriander leaves - 1 big heap
Lime juice - 2tsp or to taste

Table salt - to taste
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1 Lt

In a blender add all the ingredients except for water, make into a smooth paste, then add the ground masala to the water in a container mix well, keep it aside for 2 hours......

Then with the help of a strainer, strain the entire mixture into another container,(at this point you may taste the Pani and add more of lime juice or salt) now set this mixture aside for about 4 to 5 hours.

Later put the mixture in the fridge and serve it chill.........

Enjoy the mouth watering pani with puris and fillings of your choice!!!!!!
