Preserving Green chillies

We come across green chillies in cooking everyday, wondering how to preserve them??? Follow the following easy steps-

Method I-
Remove the stem, place them in a paper cover / zip lock bag. Put it in the fridge. Use when required.

Method II-
My mom makes a paste and use for cooking. This paste lasts for almost a year and is easy to use.

Green Chillies - 3 Cups (Remove stem and wash and dry completely)
Salt - 1Cup

Combine the two in the blender, without adding water(you can blend to a smooth paste or coarsely). Transfer the mixture to a clean n dry air tight box. Keep the box in the fridge and use as required.
